Brock Gavery has been practicing law in Seattle for over 20 years. He began his career as a civil defense trial lawyer in private practice, where he learned the importance of building trust and working tirelessly on behalf of his clients. Driven by a passion for business and entrepreneurship, Brock later served as General Counsel for Caffe Vita Coffee Roasting Company and Corporate Counsel for Chihuly Glass, before opening his own law firm. His practice is dedicated to supporting business owners throughout every stage of their company’s lifecycle, from development, formation, and structuring to operations and, ultimately, the sale, merger, or other disposition of the business.

Brock is committed to delivering value and results for his clients. Understanding the fast-paced and often unpredictable nature of corporate environments, he values responsiveness and a heightened sense of urgency to build trust and cultivate long-lasting relationships. This approach has earned him the nickname “Real-Time” among his clients, reflecting his dedication to responding quickly and working efficiently to get the deal done.

In addition to his corporate work, Brock has earned a reputation as a leading Seattle restaurant and hospitality lawyer. He has represented numerous Washington-based restaurants, bars, nightclubs, music venues, and festivals in all stages of development and operations. His experience includes advising clients on entity selection, trademark clearance and registration, crafting partnership and shareholder agreements, lease negotiations, and securing necessary licenses, permits, financing, and private investments.
