Summer Associate Program

We understand how daunting it can be to enter the legal profession and recognize the challenges of transitioning from law student to attorney, which is why our summer associate program prioritizes practical experience and mentorship to prepare you for a successful legal career. Designed to mirror the role of a junior associate, our program offers hands-on opportunities to engage with clients, draft pleadings and memoranda, attend hearings, trials, and mediations, and conduct impactful legal research.

To provide a comprehensive experience, summer associates work closely with every attorney at our firm, gaining exposure to diverse practice areas and professional styles. Our mentorship program further enhances this experience by pairing each summer associate with both a partner-level and an associate-level mentor. These mentors guide you through our firm’s culture and operations, offering insights into private practice and the legal profession.

We also foster a collegial environment through social events, allowing summer associates to connect with attorneys and staff in relaxed settings. Throughout the program, you’ll receive ongoing, constructive feedback, culminating in a meeting with firm members to reflect on your experience.

Each year, we recruit top talent through local law schools’ On-Campus Interview (OCI) programs, targeting candidates with a strong interest in our core practice areas. We typically select one summer associate annually during the Fall OCI cycle. The 2025 summer associate position has been filled. Please check back for opportunities to join our 2026 program.
